With much anticipation, Creed III premiered in theaters on Friday March 3. Many people liked the first and second Creed films, and this one did not disappoint. In the film, Adonis Creed fights an old friend who was incarcerated for the last 18 years and thinks Adonis stole his life of fame, money, and success. As Adonis comes out of retirement, one of the biggest changes is that there is no Rocky in his corner. In fact, Rocky Balboa isn’t even in the film.

The rest of the Creed series wanted to go their own route. Initially, Sylvester Stallone (the famous actor who played Rocky in the Rocky movies and the first two Creed films) was okay with this. However, there have been reports that Stallone is not too happy about it and has said he is “not planning on seeing the film.” Since Sylvester was the one who came up with the idea of Rocky, you would think that with the reboot of the Rocky movies, he would have some form of a role. When he sold the rights of the films to producer Irwin Winkler back in the ’80s, it was out of his control. It has been stated that the reason Sylvester is not in the film is because he was not a fan of the direction that it took and clashed with Winkler as well.

Will Sylvester Stallone be missed? Will this be a good direction for the film? Go see it and find out.
