It seems there hasn’t been a new binge-worthy show for quite some time now. But, after watching “The Last Of Us,” I think the wait is over. This series, set in a post-apocalyptic world, is an adaptation of a video game released back in 2013. “The Last Of Us” follows the story of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsay) as they face moments of survival, love, and sacrifice.

Even without playing the game, it’s easy to enjoy the beautifully horrifying scenes set within a world that’s bound to give you the chills. Without playing the game, I had no expectations for what’s to come, and no mental spoilers to think about. I could simply enjoy the unknown of what’s to come and the showcasing of nature reclaiming an abandoned world.

If you are an enjoyer of shows like “The Walking Dead,” or “The 100,” then this series won’t dissapoint. “The Last Of Us” brings a whole new feeling that other apocalyptic shows just don’t provide. With a few more episodes left to come, I’m on the edge of my seat to see what this unlikely duo will make us feel next.
