There are so many artists trying to make it in the music industry. This is easier said than done. Most of artists are not well-known. There are also artists out who don’t get the respect they deserve. In order to make it in the music industry, you have to bring something unique to the table.

Iam Tongi
The first artist that I could think of is Iam Tongi. Some may have already heard of him because of his openness about his faith. He shared that he is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through a video he posted on social media singing “I need Thee Every Hour” with a few other Idol contestants.

After a long battle with numerous talented artists, Iam Tongi Won the 2023 American Idol. This jump started his career. and since then he has released his own music along with unique covers of songs. I think he has a bright future in the industry with his unique sound and talent.

Mike Dimes
Mike Dimes is a rap artist out of San Antonio, Texas. In 2021, Mike Dime’s single “My Story” blew up on TikTok. This catapulted his career and in 2022 he released his debut studio album “In Dimes We Trust”. Since then, he has released songs with, in my opinion, two of the most underrated artists, J.I.D and Denzel Curry. Mike Dimes has become increasingly popular since 2021, but I don’t think he has reached anywhere near his full potential yet. As an early listener, I am excited to see where he can take his musical career.

Larry Fleet
If you are a country music fan like me, you are always looking for new artists to listen to. After planning on visiting a Parker McCollum concert over the summer, I heard that Larry Fleet would be the opening act. I didn’t think much about it. A few days before the concert, I looked into his music and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. Especially the song “Where I Find God.” This song talks about how he sees God in the simple things. With many other great songs in his arsenal, I think he will be a big name in country music in the near future.

Greta Van Fleet
I never pictured myself as someone who would listen to this type of music, but if you are looking for something different, this is a route I would recommend. They aren’t really a new band, but recently they have gained more traction through platforms like SNL and TikTok. If they can keep getting their music out to new audiences along with releasing new music, I think they could be bigger than they ever have been.

It’s a tough industry for sure. There are many who try to make it, but fail. These artists have had great careers so far but if these artists do it correctly, I believe they can be at the top of the charts.
