On Feb. 21, 2023, Southern Virginia University announced a new partnership that joins BSN Sports and Nike with our Knight community. BSN Sports is the largest sporting goods distribution company in the nation, marketing and distributing products to over 100,000 teams from the recreational level to the collegiate level. With this partnership, BSN Sports will be the official provider of sporting needs — specifically Nike apparel and equipment— for all of Southern Virginia’s programs competing in the USA South Athletic Conference.
What does this mean for us?
With this partnership, students will have immediate access to the highest quality of athletic equipment and apparel that the sports industry has to offer. Our university strives to grow the quality of our programs day-in and day-out. As a student-athlete, I am always excited to train with top-class equipment and be able to wear comfortable performance apparel. In addition to the great facilities we already have here on campus, this new partnership will be very enticing to competitive student-athletes and could be helpful to draw individuals into our programs.
