About three years ago, I was able to meet one of the best people I have ever encountered in my life. Cambridge Bingham (’26) was my district leader on my mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Idaho Pocatello mission. We quickly became good friends on our mission, specifically during the lockdowns that were constantly happening. He is a great friend and one that I would trust with anything… But, that’s not the end of his awesomeness!
Bingham is a proud member of Southern Virginia University’s football team. He plays as an offensive guard and has his eyes set on becoming one of the top 10% of the strongest members of his team (he is well on his way)!
Bingham isn’t just a jock, but also a nerd and dork (in the best of ways). He is currently taking 19 (yes 19) credit hours and his favorite class right now is design. Bingham is a business major minoring in att, but just wait… He wants to be a dentist! (Bingham is also a great player in Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder 2e.)
Bingham is a busy man though, as he is always going above and beyond! He will always be there to help you when you need it. Although he is currently just a student, Bingham is also working with a friend to start a real estate business in Utah (like I said, he’s busy).
While one day Southern Virginia University will have to say goodbye to this amazing student, he is someone you don’t want to miss out on meeting. Although Utah will be regaining a great dentistry student, he will be missed by the students of Southern Virginia!
