The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple Dedication Announcements

Rejoice everyone! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ First Presidency announced on November 14 the dates of the dedications of the Richmond, Virginia and the Columbus, Ohio Temples.

The first Virginia temple, located in Richmond, Virginia, will soon be opening! President Russell M. Nelson announced the building of the temple back in 2018, and since then, Virginia located Latter-day Saints have been anxiously waiting. On March 21–24 of this year, invited guests will be able to enter the temple. The open house, available for all individuals to tour, will be from March 25 to April 15. There will be no tours allowed on Sundays and April 1–2 for General Conference. The Richmond Virginia Temple will be dedicated on May 7, 2023.

The Columbus Ohio Temple will be rededicated on Sunday, June 4 of this year. There will be three sessions: 9:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., and 3:00pm. On April 24 there will be a media day, and April 25–28 will be reservced for a private open house to those who have been invited. Saturday April 29 will be the open house for all individuals.
