October Madness: You Won’t Believe Who Won Last Week’s Close Matchup

Last week I told you guys that from here on out we are going to be seeing extremely close matchups. However, I couldn’t have been more wrong. The Elite Eight had one close matchup and the rest were blowouts.
Last week’s matchup highlight was the Gummy Bear vs. Twix showdown. Gummy bears were a number 1 seed coming into this tournament and were looking to make some big noise with a possible championship run. However, the up and coming Twix team was hot off a big win against Reese’s and were ready to show that win wasn’t a fluke. It was a very close back and forth battle, at one point Gummy Bears were winning by quite a few votes. However, in the end, Twix was able to comeback and squeak out a close 18-17 victory. This week they have a major matchup against Kit Kat (who are the favorites to win at this point). I have doubted Twix before but they may be able to pull off the greatest October Madness run ever.
This is the final week of the tournament. The last matchup of Final Four voting will occur on Wednesday, there will be another recap and preview article about that. Finally, the championship round will occur on Friday with the winner being declared on Monday the 31: Halloween. Make sure you tune in on those final days to make sure your favorite candy makes it all the way to the big dance.
