What is “April Adventures”?

This month, beginning on April 4, the Wellness Department is sponsoring April Adventures. You may be wondering what that is; it is an event that consists of weekly adventures that encourage students (and employees) to spend some time in the sun!

Every week, there will be a red, student Knight rock, and a white, employee Knight rock hidden. Each day throughout the week, there will be a clue posted on the Knight App within the Wellness Group, hinting at the locations of both rocks. The weekly adventure ends when a team finds the rock for the week.

In order to sign up, you and a friend must register through this google form, sign the waiver form (which you can find on the Knight App or email wellness@svu.edu), and then you are set to play!

The rules for the game are easy and simple! There can only be two per team, no transportation is allowed, including bikes (so you must walk, run, etc.), you can only grab the rock for your group (student or employee).

Once you find your respective rock, you must email a picture of your team, the Knight rock, and where you found it to wellness@svu.edu. Then, all that is left is to take the rock to the Wellness Center and claim your prize!

For the week of 4/3, on the second day, employees Emy Teach and Tori Westcott found their respective rock! The following day, students Andrew Knecht and Conner Piippo found the student rock!

Week two of April Adventures started yesterday! This weeks student prize is Visa gift cards, and the employee prize is a Premium Bunny James Snack box!

If you have signed up already — don’t worry! You can join at any time. Just scan the QR code or follow the instruction above!
